What yogurt fits your diet?


It's creamy, tasty and very nutritious. How you do not like yogurt and not consider it an ally in any diet?

Pityriasis rosea skin disease


One of the problems often encountered with the coming of spring is pityriasis rosea, what treatment options we have?

Pitiriasisul rosea is an acute disseminated rash on the trunk and limbs, and self-limiting with spontaneous remission evolution. The most commonly affected are young adults, the disease rarely occurring in children and the elderly. Spring and autumn are the seasons in which this disease occurs most frequently. Pityriasis rosea is associated with reactivation of HHV-6 virus infection and HHV-7, two related herpes viruses.
How to manifest?


The eruption is "announced" the so-called "plate Herald: this is an oval erythematous plaque, with a diameter of 2-5 cm, covered with white scales at the periphery. This lesion may be single or multiple or in a small percentage of cases may miss. Heraldic plate is followed, at a time interval of 1-2 weeks of an eruption consisting of erythematous patches with dimensions smaller than the initial injury, the color ranging from pale pink and salmon color and with white scales on the surface.

What treatment options exist?

There is no treatment to speed healing of injuries. With or without treatment, will require 6-8 weeks before it resolves spontaneously. Symptomatic treatment aims to relieve itching. The doctor will choose one of the following:

Local treatment:
* Soothing mixture;
* Topical steroids.

Oral treatment:
* Antihistamines;
* Short courses of systemic corticosteroids in cases associated with severe itching.
